The Foals / Tom Vek / Stay + / Chad Valley / Jack Savidge / Jack Master / Now Wave / Eat Your Own Ears @ WHP Manchester

despite having a fair few friends in london that are manchester born and bred, i have never ventured out of the capital to see what this city has to offer.  what better excuse than for a night out to the renowned warehouse project. having seen delphic at the whp in london, i knew that this night would not dissapoint.

MNCR - its charm is certainly not the fact it seems to rain every day. an urban metropolis, boasting a damn good music scene, fashion scene and cultural scene the city is not short of things to do.  the vintage shopping is awesome - oldham st appears to be the place to go for records and clobber, avoiding hyper inflated london prices.

WHP, the end of store street - five years on from its creation in the underground venue that is store street, the whp is closing its curtains for the last time on 2nd january. fear not! it will be returning very soon with the new venue to be announced this month. a new chapter for the whp it would seem.

headliners, the foals were the highlight despite seeing them too many times to count already.  tom vek played an earlier set bringing a touch of nostalgia to the night

this month, there will be no room to detox with trips to paris, istanbul, auckland and sydney. watch this space kids and happy new year!
